Best for smaller, dainty pieces (4.0 out of 5 stars)

Upon receiving the item there was a weird smell- like think nursing home scent. I’m not one to write about products with smells as I hardly notice. This was a noticeable strange smell that knocked me back for a second. After it aired out, it was fine. Scent went away. Pros/Cons: I like the material and the key. The green is a beautiful color and it’s beautifully vintage inspired. The lock only locks the top part so I used a hair tie to fasten the bottom knob on to the lock before closing and locking it. This now secures the bottom drawer too. I needed both compartments locked as one of my kids has broken many pieces of my jewelry. I have a mix of smaller pieces and big, accent or longer pieces. This box is a lot easier to store shorter, less bulky necklaces and smaller earrings. If you like more delicate, smaller pieces this box is perfect. I was able to hang some dangling earrings, but others were too big or risked damage when closing the box. A lot of ring space, if you wear rings. I only had a few rings (about 7) and only took up the first row. The bottom drawer is great for 6 bracelets, but I used this to store big accent earrings or bulkier jewelry. I liked hanging the necklaces in the back of the box on little hanging push tabs and the ability to secure it. I liked putting in earrings into the earring backing wall. The earring backing wall was tricky at first. You do need to get the earring lined up straight and a firm push or move to another slot. Do NOT force or it will bend the backing. After awhile I got the hang of it and could insert the earrings without any issues. Overall, I was happy because even with some problem solving I was able to fit all my jewelry securely inside and know my jewelry is safe now from getting lost or broken by little hands in the house. It’s a fairly medium sized box so if you have a fairly large collection, you’ll need a bigger box or two of these. I put 28 earrings, 7 rings, a brooch, 10 necklaces in my box. Space I have left over: Plenty of room for 11 more stud earrings and 2 more dangling pairs. Lots of empty rows for rings (4-5 rows).

Love the design! (4.0 out of 5 stars)

This jewelry box was the answer to my terribly unorganized earrings and I’m so grateful for it. Each hole for the earring studs has a rubber lining to make the studs fit more snugly- which is a great idea, since you can put the earrings in without worrying about putting a back on and therefore get them them off more easily- but sometimes the hole in the rubber wasn’t lined up correctly and I had to get a stronger earring to poke it through, since my sterling silver earrings would begin to bend. Just be careful with that part! Other than that it’s perfect, and I love how roomy it is. The little key comes on a cute tassel key chain which is a nice touch as well!
